Swindon & Site Based (M4 Corridor: Bristol to London)
Salary up to £70,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance

Overview

A growing specialist design & build contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager with a strong Mechanical / HVAC background to join its South region team.

You will be responsible for managing 4–5 live Mechanical and HVAC-focused building services projects simultaneously, overseeing delivery from pre-construction through to completion.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical understanding, client management capability, and the ability to manage multiple projects across client sites along the M4 corridor.

The role is based in Swindon and across project sites, typically covering Bristol, Swindon, Reading and Oxford.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple Mechanical / HVAC and MEP projects concurrently (typically 4–5 live projects)
• Oversee full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to installation and completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, engineers, and site teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project delivery
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve delivery challenges
• Work closely with commercial teams to manage variations and project financial performance
• Attend site meetings and provide leadership across project teams

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager or Mechanical Project Manager
• Strong Mechanical bias essential, particularly HVAC and building services systems
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
• Experience delivering projects from pre-construction through to completion
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel across project sites along the M4 corridor

Desirable

• Background working for an MEP contractor or specialist building services contractor
• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or Construction Management
• Experience delivering technically complex or specialist environments

Location & Working Pattern

• Based in Swindon and client project sites
• Projects located across the M4 corridor (Bristol to London)
• Regular site attendance required
